How credits work
A credit is the unit of finished work. One credit finalizes one transaction into your books. Everything before that moment is free.

Free things happen first
You upload. The AI reads the statement, finds the transactions, predicts a category and a confidence score for each. You look at reports. None of that costs a credit.

A transaction is finalized
Either the AI's confidence cleared your threshold, or you confirmed it in the review list. That transaction is now in your books. One credit.

Free credits, then purchased
100 credits at signup. 10 more every 24 hours, which reset rather than pile up. Purchased credits are spent only when the free ones are gone, and they never expire.

Questions, answered
When exactly is a credit spent?
When a transaction is finalized (verified) into your books. That happens either automatically, when the AI's confidence is above the threshold you set, or when you confirm it in the review list. It is spent once per transaction, ever. Unfinalizing and re-finalizing does not charge again.
Which credits get used first?
Free credits first, then purchased. So your daily allowance is always used before you touch the bundle you paid for.
Do the daily free credits add up if I do not use them?
No. They reset to 10 every 24 hours from your last activity. Use them or they refresh anyway.
What happens at zero?
Uploads, AI reading, predictions and reports keep working. Finalizing pauses until your daily credits refresh or you buy a bundle. Nothing is deleted and nothing is locked.
Can I get a refund on credits?
Unused purchased credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase. Email support and we will sort it out.
